Sustainable Development Day at Roussillon

a sustainable vision for roussillon platform

On Thursday 7th November 2019, Osiris GIE, director of the Roussillon Chemical Platform, of which Seqens is a member, organised a day dedicated to sustainable development.

This event was an opportunity for Osiris GIE to present its strategic vision: to be a reference Chemical Platform at the European level.

In addition, the platform’s members were also able to present their projects and discuss those in progress.

Two Seqens activities have been present on the Roussillon Chemical Platform for many years:

• Seqens Solvents & Phenol Specialties (SPS)
• Seqens Essential Drug Substances (EDS)

Willy Lemesle, Director of the SPS site in Roussillon, presented the Adipex project, carried out in collaboration with Adisséo. The aim is to build a new station for unloading propylene wagons to feed its plants via the Transugli Propylene pipe connecting them to the Feyzin refinery.

Jérôme Geneste, EDS site manager in Roussillon, took the floor to explain the construction of a new building that will house a new laboratory, a new control room and offices.
