What’s your job ?

I’m a sales assistant at Acid & Derivatives business unit in Ecully. I manage the customer relationship from the administrative side. Which means that I forward commercial offers to our customers. I receive their product needs. I register the orders in our computer system and I follow up the project until the invoices payment.

At the same time, I also have contact with some of our suppliers in Europe for whom we sell their products.

Who do you work with everyday?

Beyond the contact with my customers, the job is very polyvalent. I work mainly with the logistic department that sets up the shipments and transport. I also have daily contact with the sales managers with whom we talk about the market.

Also with the accountancy department with which we exchange about the settlements of invoices and possible delays. And the plant that I get production information from.

I am also in touch with some suppliers with whom we exchange regularly to evaluate their product’s availability of products that we sell to our customers.

What qualities are required to do your job?

Reactivity and autonomy because our customers deal with very frequent manufacturing unexpected events.

It is necessary to be able to adapt the schedule quickly enough to avoid the extra costs associated with these contingencies, and to be able to be rigorous and resilient when confronted with these unforeseen events.

We have many subjects to deal with daily and nothing should be left to hazard or forgotten.

Good humor mood at any time because we are more efficient with a smile and we obtain more easily the customers satisfaction.
