SEQENS new antiwear additive ROSCAN® 6253NV is registered on the LUSC list.

Our antiwear additive, ROSCAN® 6253NV complies with the criteria according to EU Commission decision 2018/1702 from 08th of November 2018 and has been added to the Lubricant Substance Classification list (short: LuSC list). The LuSC list is a list of substances that have been assessed on biodegradation, aquatic toxicity, renewability and exclusion lists of substances.

It is a whitelist of components and packages approved for use in lubricating formulations intended to be submitted for European Ecolabel certification. Therefore, ROSCAN® 6253NV is a suitable candidate for use in lubricant formulations eligible for the European Ecolabel.

  • ROSCAN® 6253NV is an antiwear additive recommended for industrial lubricants, metalworking applications and for grease additivation.
  • ROSCAN® 6253NV is a biobased and biodegradable light colored and ashless dioleyl hydrogen phosphite (CAS 64051-29-2).
  • ROSCAN® 6253NV has good solubility in Group I, II, III paraffinic base socks and well as in Naphthenic base stocks (depending on base oil origin. It is recommended to check it in the finished product.)
  • Other lubricant additives from SEQENS are already listed on the Lubricant Substance Classification list (short: LuSC list), such as extreme pressure additives, SULFAD® 1529E, SULFAD® 1710E and SULFAD® 1711E, are also.
