KELICO® M2461 is an overbased calcium sulfonate grease base with improved water resistance for grease formulations requiring high rust protection and extreme pressure performance.
KELICO® M2461 offers good thermal resistance, mechanical stability and outstanding water tolerance, making it suitable for use in severe operating conditions.
KELICO® M2461 is recommended for the formulation of NLGI 2 greases intended for industrial and heavy-duty applications. Typical applications include gearboxes, wire ropes, paper mills, mining equipment, steel mills, bearings and marine deck equipment.
KELICO® M2461 provides anti-corrosion protection while maintaining good lubricating performance in the presence of water.
