Given the nature of our processes, no priority can be given to the health and safety of our employees, subcontractors and visitors to our sites. Safety is part of our DNA.

We have put in place a Safety Leadership program that enables us not only to protect our teams, but also to foster a strong, shared safety culture at all levels of the company.

OUR GOAL

As part of our CSR strategy, SEQENS’ objective in terms of personal health and safety is to achieve zero serious or fatal accidents per year and an occupational accident frequency rate less than or equal to 2 by 2026.

OUR APPROACH

To guarantee a safe working environment, we rely on three fundamental pillars:

  • Training, support and development of our employees and subcontractors to enhance their safety expertise;
  • The rigorous application of principles such as the 9 “Life saving Rules”, practices and procedures at all our sites, reinforced by regular audits and controls;
  • Systematic monitoring of our HSE performance, analyzed at every management meeting.

We recognize that the chemical industry has always been characterized by a gender imbalance, and we are committed to playing our part in promoting greater diversity within the sector. We have set ourselves the target of achieving a score of 90/100 on the gender equality index by 2025.

SEQENS’ approach to diversity, equity and inclusion is based on four pillars: gender equity, intergenerational cooperation, inclusion of people with disabilities, and promotion of cultural diversity.

At SEQENS, we firmly believe that the future of the industry depends on the excellence of its employees and their ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment. With this in mind, ongoing training and development for our employees are important aspects of our CSR approach.

As part of our CSR strategy, we aim to ensure that at least 70% of our employees receive annual training by 2025.

At SEQENS, we implement several measures to strengthen our teams’ skills and promote their professional development:

  • Customised internal training courses that facilitate the sharing of expertise within the company.
  • Appraisal interviews to identify each employee’s training needs, inform skills development plans and promote internal mobility.
