AdvensProtect PBDE is a blend of Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid and Ethylhexylglycerin.
- Phenoxyethanol: has been used for decades as a preservative in cosmetic products. It is effective against various gram negative and gram positive bacteria and yeasts.
- Benzoic acid: a traditional organic acid preservative with relatively low allergenic potential.
- Dehydroacetic acid: It works best in a blend of preservatives to provide a broader activity profile against microorganisms.
- Ethylhexylglycerin: a multifunctional ingredient with great emollient and preservative booster properties.
This blend has a broad, balanced spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts and fungi to protect any cosmetic formulation.
