European Disability Week 2019
This year, the European Disability Week occured from 18th to 22nd November 2019. Seqens took the opportunity to reiterate its commitment to this cause and promote employment for all.
A job dating like no other at Bourgoin
Seqens attended, on monday 18th of november, with 11 other companies, a blind job dating at the Pôle Emploi of Bourgoin-Jallieu in partnership with the Medef, Cap emploi and Agefiph.
The objective is to “raise awareness among the teams and promote inclusion“, says Marjorie Hanriot, HR manager at the Bourgoin site. To explain the principle of this new kind of recruitment, she adds: “We are in the dark and discover the candidate after the interview to appreciate the career path without any a priori. We can propose vacant positions but also sponsor a candidate. All our partners present for this event support companies in their recruitment projects and set up appropriate training actions.
During the interviews” we are totally attentive to the candidate. The interview promotes a exchange of quality, and we do not focus on the candidate’s background, but on the skills that can be mobilized on their professional project. We have chosen to support a motivated candidate by providing him/her with the benefit of our network and provide him/her with a three-hour coaching session. »
Candidates also took advantage of the workshops provided between interviews or job simulations offered to them as well as quizzes.
Summary of the day: 48 candidates, 95 interviews “Very enriching, a very good organization from Pôle Emploi and lots of positive feedback from all participants.
This initiative was well received by all and will most certainly be repeated by Seqens next year.
