SEQENS’ activities in the Top 5% of entities certified by EcoVadis
EcoVadis offers a complete and independent Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assessment service. It is based on the objective analysis of 21 criteria covering the 4 themes of environment, labor & human rights, business ethics and supply chain.
THE SEQENS GROUP MORE COMMITTED THAN EVER TO ITS CSR APPROACH
Known for its historical social and sustainable development commitment through an ambitious and structured CSR approach applied to its activities all over the world, SEQENS has 22 of its operational entities evaluated by EcoVadis. The group’s ambition is to reach the “Platinum” or “Gold” level for more than 80% of its entities in 2021. These levels of excellence represent respectively the Top 1% and Top 5% of the entities of equivalent size and sector of activity certified by EcoVadis.
As of mid-October 2020, 13 operational entities have already been assessed. 5 have obtained the Platinum level, 6 the Gold level, and 2 the Silver level despite the undeniable progress observed, i.e. a remarkable rate of 85%.
I would like to warmly congratulate the operational teams working at the sites already evaluated for their daily commitment to CSR and I wish the entities undergoing the evaluation process every success in meeting and even exceeding our ambitious objectives. Reaching 80% Platinum or Gold levels of EcoVadis in 2020 would be a one year advance on our ambition. I am confident.

Ecovadis certifications are internationally recognized and are delivered by a panel of more than 500 CSR experts around the world. Those certifications are based on international standards of sustainable development such as the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact as well as standards such as ISO 26001, 9001, 14001, 45001.
