Novacap presents the “Novacap prize for the Academy of Sciences”

For the first time, as part of its partnership with the Academy of Sciences, Novacap has awarded Ms. Géraldine Masson, the “NOVACAP Award of the French Academy of Sciences”.

The prize is awarded to Géraldine Masson, research director of 2nd class at the CNRS, at the Institute of Chemistry of Natural Substances of Gif-sur-Yvette, on the initiative of new and particularly effective methods in the field of catalysis, mainly organic.

Her researches makes it possible to prepare quickly with excellent yields and in a very smoothly way of many polyfunctional molecules.
By her fundamental studies, Géraldine Masson was able to explain the reaction mechanisms involved and extrapolate them to new applications involving hetero-elements.
