A joint venture between ADISSEO and SEQENS SPS
THE ADIPEX COMPANY, CO-FOUNDED BY SEQENS SPS AND ADISSEO
ADIPEX in brief
Adipex is a joint venture founded by ADISSEO and Seqens Solvent & Phenol Specialties. Its purpose is the construction of a new propylene wagon unloading station to supply the ADISSEO plants at Roches de Condrieu and SEQENS in Roussillon via the Transugil Propylene pipe linking the plants to the Feyzin refinery.
Project Goals
Adipex is replacing the existing propylene wagon unloading station with a new station that will use the best available techniques to improve safety and reliability. It will supply additional propylene beyond the capacity of the Feyzin refinery to meet the needs of ADISSEO (Polar Project, 15% capacity increase) and SEQENS (Norma Project, 10% increase in propylene requirement).
This new station, operated as at present by SEQENS, will supply the ADISSEO plants at Roches de Condrieu and SEQENS in Roussillon via the Transugil Propylene pipe linking the plants to the Feyzin refinery.
